Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a 1:1 replacement for regular flour?

No. CoreBake works best with our own recipes. Once familiar, you can start experimenting.

Why does the texture feel different from regular flour?

CoreBake is high in fibre, so the texture is naturally lighter, fluffier and a little different. That’s completely normal and part of what makes it suitable for low-carb baking.

Do I need to follow the recipes exactly?

To start with, yes. Our recipes are developed specifically for this flour blend and will give you the most reliable results. Small tweaks are best made once you’ve baked with it a few times.

Why do some bakes look lighter or darker than expected?

Natural fibre ingredients can vary slightly in colour and absorb moisture differently. This can affect appearance, but not taste or performance.

Is it normal if my bake doesn’t rise like traditional bread?

Yes. CoreBake doesn’t rise in the same way as wheat flour. The result is more compact and satisfying rather than airy.

Who is this not suitable for?

If you are sensitive to fibre or follow a medically supervised diet, start with small portions and seek professional advice.

What’s Inside CoreBake

Oat Fibre

The base

Naturally gluten-free and rich in beta-glucan, oat fibre is packed with dietary fibre. Low in calories with a mild nutty taste and light beige colour that gently deepens when baked.

Psyllium husk

The glue

Psyllium husk is a binding agent that improves the structure and texture of gluten-free baked goods. It also helps distribute air bubbles, ensuring a uniform rise.

Potassium Bitartrate

The lift

Potassium Bitartrate is a natural byproduct of wine making. It provides stability and helps create the perfect texture in our formulations.

Sodium Bicarbonate

The balance

Sodium Bicarbonate is a versatile and gentle compound that is completely natural and environmentally friendly. It provides the perfect balance to our other ingredients.

CoreBake is a food product. It is not a medical product and makes no medical claims. Always follow a balanced diet and consult a qualified professional if you have specific dietary needs.
